    question time

k, so my dr's appt isnt for a few days, and i'm loaded with questions!!!!!

    Are these normal??
    first: headaches all the time!
second: sleeping 12 hours at a time!!!
third: i'll be STARVING then have one bite of food and be done.
fourth: a weird feeling in my lower abdomen sometimes... not exactly pain, more like pressure or tightness. it just comes and goes.
fifth: no real sickness... this worries me and makes me feel like i'm making it all up

im such a dunce here... i know nothing! it's all so overwhelming and exciting!

    Yep, all normal.

The pressure/tightening is your uterus growing and contracting to make a cozy home for your little one.

You are lucky you have no morning sickness, be careful what you wish for: mine didn't come until my second trimester.

Being tired in the first trimester is normal. Most women feel great around the second trimester.

I don't know about the eating one bite and being done though: I could have eaten 24/7 while I was pregnant.

Enjoy the eating one bite and then being done while it lasts...today my son saw me biting into a powdered donut with some slim jims, rolled his eyes and goes "do you really need that?" Seriously?!?!?!?

The sleeping is very normal; mine let up a bit once I was in my second trimester. Just don't overdo things and nap when you need to!

    Congratulations again!!

Agreed. It's all normal. The headaches and fatigue are from the horomones..as is just about everything else you will experience. That will lessen as you get out of your first trimester and into your second. Rest when you get tired. Take naps. Eat when you can and want to. Your body is an amazing thing and will give you signals - you just have to listen to them and respond.
    Congrats!!!

god. i keep scaring myself to death with all my little questions.
the day before i knew i was pregnant i took a really hot bath. now im worried i caused damage to the baby.
the week before i knew i was pregnant i had a few drinks each day. never wasted, but tipsy a few times. now im terrified my baby will have fetal alchohol syndrome.
today after sex i felt cramps and was so scared i was expelling the baby. i rushed to google it and read that it's OK for you to have cramps after sex when pregnant, but i swear my heart almost stopped.
this is all so MUCH. so overwhelming!!! i need to call my mom i think. ive never been SO focused on anything, or SO worried about anything. i GOTTA relax!
